Day 1 - Depart USA Overnight flight to Lisbon.
Day 2 - Arrive Lisbon You are met and transferred to your hotel. Time to relax before a Welcome dinner and drink with your Tour Director! (Welcome Dinner)
Day 3 - Lisbon — Albufeira (2 nights) Via the port of Setubal we arrive in Albufeira (Buffet Breakfast )
Day 4 - Algarve Excursion The Sagres Peninsula, Baleeira Beach and Cape St Vincent are included on our scenic excursion. Dinner's in a local restaurant.. (Buffet Breakfast/ Highlight Dinner)
Day 5 - Albufeira — Evora We travel to Evora, where we visit the main sights. (Buffet Breakfast/ Dinner)
Day 6 - Evora — Viseu After visiting Castelo de Vide we drive through the Estrela mountains to see the Roman tower at Belmonte. Finally into Dao vineyards and Viseu. (Buffet Breakfast/ Dinner)
Day 7 - Viseu — Mateus — Oporto (2 nights) We travel through the Douro valley to visit the gardens of the Palacio de Mateu. Via Guimaraes and its castle to Oporto. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)
Day 8 - Oporto sightseeing Includes the bridges over the Douro, the Stock Exchange, a wine-tasting in one of the port cellars and so much more! (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 9 - Oporto — Fatima First to Coimbra to visit the University town and then to the excavations of Roman Conimbriga. We stop in Tomar to visit the Convent of Christ before arriving in Fatima. (Buffet Breakfast/ Dinner)
Day 10 - Fatima — Lisbon (2 nights) We visit Fatima's Basilica at the spot where the Virgin is said to have appeared. Then, the important monastery of Batalha, before stopping in the qauint fishing village of Nazaré. We'll also pause at Obidos - once on the seashore, but now 6 miles inland! This evening in Lisbon, why not listen to some Fado in a typical restaurant" (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 11 - Lisbon sightseeing Includes a guided visit of the medieval quarter and Vasco de Gama's tomb inside the Heironymite Monastery. We'll also admire views of Belem Tower, the Monument to the Discoverers and enjoy a walking tour of the Alfama district. (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 12 - Lisbon — USA After breakfast there's time to bid farewell to this beautiful country and new-found friends as we transfer to the airport for our return flight to America. (Buffet Breakfast)
