IBERIAN VACATION
Overview Click map for larger sizeThis trip covers three countries: Spain, Morocco, and Portugal, concentrating on the southern part of the Iberian Peninsula. Start your vacation in Madrid, Spain's capital, with an included welcome dinner. Two-night stays in the cities of Madrid, Lisbon, and Seville allow enough time for in-depth sightseeing tours including visits to important sights, such as Madrid's Prado Museum, Lisbon's Jeronimos Monastery, and Seville's cathedral with Columbus" tomb. The overnight stay in Tangier gives you a nice taste of Morocco with a guided tour and visit to the colorful Grand Socco Market and a panoramic drive to Cap Spartain. Ferry crossings over the Strait of Gibraltar allow you spectacular views of the Rock. There's a full day at leisure at the Costa del Sol with the possibility to join an optional excursion to the Rock of Gibraltar before you continue to Granada. In Granada, enjoy a guided walking tour and visit to the famed Alhambra complex with a Local Guide. Before arriving back in Madrid, stop in Toledo, where you see one of El Greco's most famous paintings.
