It is the power of the web that got me interested in travel. 25+ years ago I founded Unleaded.Digital, a web design, development and hosting company based in Denver Colorado. I expanded the operation to Ahmedabad, India and traveled there to meet with our expanded team, rent office space, and engage an accountant and banker. The ride from The Ummed Ahmedabad Airport to my hotel alongside an elephant in one traffic lane and a family of 5 clinging to a scooter on the other side was an introduction to a wholly different cultural experience. Today, my travel is mostly with my sons and wife. It’s different from when my wife and I traveled as a couple prior to starting a family. Now we plan around the boys’ interests one full day of each trip. Fortunately for us, all four truly enjoy active adventures and fine dining. The thing about the internet is the wealth of information available. It makes planning and reservations almost seamless. It makes managing unanticipated changes to plans easier. It opens up greater possibility. Isn’t that what travel should do for us all?Where is your next adventure?
